Underfloor Heating Standard Mat

The UFH Standard Mat System works anywhere, under almost any floor. It has a fabric backing allowing adhesives to be fully absorbed thereby allowing a perfect bind between the tiles and subfloor. Other underfloor heating mats are comprised of cables stuck onto plastic/ fibreglass with sticky tape. Tests have shown that this can create a barrier between the subfloor and the floor finish.

Underfloor Heating Classic Mat

This is the budget alternative of the UFH standard mat system. If you’ve got time on your hands then you may want to consider a Classic Mat System. As it has 2 connection cables it takes longer to install, but you still get the same great results as the Standard Mat System. It adds only 2.5mm to depth of the floor and has fabric backing for better installation.

If you’re a DIY enthusiast, the Budget Loose Cable System is for you. It’s a very high quality underfloor heating product. As the cables are Class 2, it can be used in any room. It takes more time to install but is perfect for use in small or oddly shaped areas. You can buy the cables in three sizes, and if the cable spacing is accurately calculated, you can achieve a uniform heat output beneath the tiles. The cables are 12.5 watts per linear metre.
