Product Information

Perfect travertine tiles that have a soft, creamy and light beige background colour. You can put them just about anywhere and you won't be disappointed. Their tumbled finish gives them a beautiful rustic finish that is admired by many. The tumbling process helps smooth off sharp corners leaving a softer looking stone.

Tumbled tiles add great depth to any flooring. They deliver a rough and a pitted surface, rounded edges and corners. It is the process by which stone is tumbled or vibrated with smaller abrasives to produce an aged appearance. There might be slight variations in colour, but veins and other patterns are generally absent. The result is an area that feels rustic and relaxed yet sumptuous at the same time.

Pattern Information:

French Pattern: The tiles have a mixture of 4 different sizes in each pack. Please check stone layouts section for the layout information.

Installation & Care

All products listed here can be purchased from our online store (Adhesive, grout, sealers or maintenance items).

General Information for Tile & Stone:

  • Substrate should be clean, dry, level and should not move. Decoupling membranes are recommended for flooring applications if shift in substrate is expected.
  • Dimensions listed here are nominal as slight variations in size and thickness may occur with most stone & porcelain tiles.
  • Minor edge chipping may occur in handling, installation & transport. During installation process, these can be used as cuts.
  • Natural stone can vary in colour, tone, size (within tolerance). During installation, mixing the tiles naturally (blending) are recommended rather than using similar shades together.

Adhesive:
  • Flexible adhesive is recommended, particularly substrates with movement, or when underfloor heating is at present or planned in installations.
  • All tiles must be solidly bedded.
  • Standard set adhesive sets slowly (24 hours) whereas fast set adhesive sets within 3 hours (depending on weather conditions).

Grouting:

  • Apply grout at least 12 hours after the tile installation.
  • Select width joint accordingly to accommodate any variation in tile sizes.
  • We recommend the use of flexible grouts.
  • When mixing multiple sizes together (i.e. patterns) the grout joint may vary in width between the varying sizes of tiles within the pattern.

Sealing & Maintenance:

  • All natural stone tiles need sealing during installation; Generally we recommend to apply one coat before grouting and one coat after grouting.
  • Depending on usage of the floor, re-seal the tiles every 6-12 months.
  • Use maintenance products that are manufactured for natural stone. Do not use acidic cleaners.

    Serena Woodward 11/02/2023

Hi - looking to purchase 6 pieces of 305x305x10mm premium ivory travertine tiles - but I can only order by square metre. Can you provide me with a quote for six tiles only ? Thanks.

    • Stone Deals

Hi Serena This item in this size only comes in a pack of 11 tiles in a box therefore a minimum order for this tile is 1.023 m2 (rounded to 1 full box of 11 tiles) We hope this is helpful information.

  2. Stone Deals

Hi, what is the slip rating on these tiles?

    • Stone Deals

Good Morning, This is not an anti- slip certified tile, therefore it does not have a slip rating. However, this is a tumbled tile so it will be a matte finish which will have grip to it unlike if you were to have a polished tile.

  3. Stone Deals

Hi Im ordering 39m (floor measures 37m2) and 15m (wall measures 14m2). How much grout and sealant would I need please

    • Stone Deals

Hello Sarah Thank you for your order. 1 bag of 3kg grout covers roughly 10 square meters and 1 bag of 10kg covers roughly around 30 square meters however, these are guidelines as the grouting gap, tile sizes and depth of tiles can change these given figures. We hope this is helpful.
